Mr. No Fear
It took Wilson about 10 minutes to warm up to being in the water again, and then there was no stopping him. Down the slide and off the diving board. He must get it from his father!

E.J.'s Graduation
My brother E.J. graduated from college this past Saturday with a degree in Political Science. It's on to law school in the fall for him, so I'm afraid my days as a editer/proofreader are far from over! Wilson did great at the ceremoney, as you can see he kept busy with crayons and Thomas trains.

A Visit from Winnie the Pooh
We went to the Town and Country Library yesterday to see Winnie the Pooh. I thought Wilson was going to hyperventilate when Pooh showed up! He was BEYOND excited! Once it was his turn to see Pooh, he couldn't stop talking to Pooh, "Do you like honey? Do you like bees? Where's Piglet?" and on and on. I think my son was the talk of the library he was so excited. It was totally priceless to see the pure joy in Wilson when he saw Pooh.
Cosley Children's Zoo
It finally feels like spring has sprung! Wilson and I took a little trip to Cosley Children's Zoo, or as Wilson calls it, "the farm." It was a gorgeous day and he had a blast running around looking at all the different farm animals.
Easter
Wilson had a ball decorating Easter eggs this year. It's a good thing hard boiled eggs are one of his favorite foods though!

Museum of Science and Industry
Wilson and I took a little field trip down to the museum yesterday. We most of the day around the steam engine. He had to explore every nook and cranny on that engine!
Wilson the Builder
As construction continues around our house, Darren has found he has a "helper." Funny, we debated about getting a play tool bench for him for Christmas but figured he wouldn't be into it. "Santa" blew it on that one, huh?

Chicago
Darren and I took a little "staycation" this Christmas, just the 2 of us. Since we didn't have to fly or rent a car, we could spend the majority of the travel budget on a luxury hotel, amazing restaurants, and of course, shopping on the Mag Mile!
